The closest hotel, motel, or inn to this classic Cape Cod beach, the Chatham Seafarer is at the corner of Main Street and Ridgevale Road. Walk down to the beach and enjoy the warm and calm waters that are carefully watched over by lifeguards. If you prefer to drive, parking is available. With boat rentals, a snack bar, and tidal pools for children to wade in, this beach is a fun destination for all ages.

Hardings Beach
Less than a mile away from the Chatham Seafarer, Hardings Beach is one of the area’s most sprawling family beaches. Vacationers can take advantage of the hiking trails, marked swimming areas, showers, and plentiful food options. The warm, calm waters of Nantucket Sound and the three lifeguard stations make this another beach that will please everyone in your group. Plus, it’s a great place to play a little beach bocce!

Lighthouse Beach
Scenic doesn’t begin to cover it. Though it’s just beyond the downtown area, Lighthouse Beach offers stunning views, natural wonders, and serious serenity. Here you can view Chatham Light, the lighthouse for which this beach is famous. Interested in seeing the inside of this landmark? It will occasionally open its doors for tours during the summer months. Don’t let the little ones swim alone here; the currents can be strong. Parking at Lighthouse Beach is very limited.
